Savage Renovations LLC was founded by DJ Whitlatch, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with a deep commitment to hard work, discipline, and excellence. Born and raised in Anita, Iowa, DJ learned early on the value of integrity and perseverance — principles he carried into military service and now brings to every renovation project.
The name “Savage” comes from DJ’s Marine Corps call sign — a reminder of the relentless drive and no-quit mentality that defines our company. Based in Maryville, Missouri, DJ and his wife have built Savage Renovations as a family business rooted in community, trust, and top-tier craftsmanship.
